Your use of Odyssee is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and the additional terms below.
Purpose and independence
Odyssee is an independent reading and learning app about Homer’s Odyssey. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any film production, studio, rights holder, or filmmaker. Editorial comparisons and geographic interpretations are educational commentary, not claims of official status or historical certainty.
Free access and Odysee Pro
The app provides a meaningful free path. Odysee Pro unlocks additional editions and editorial features. Available products may include a monthly auto-renewable subscription, a yearly auto-renewable subscription, and a non-consumable lifetime purchase. The app displays the current localized price and billing period supplied by Apple before purchase.
Subscriptions
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase.
- An auto-renewable subscription renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.
- Purchases can be restored inside the app. Billing, refunds, and payment disputes are handled by Apple under Apple’s rules.
Content and availability
Source coverage differs by edition and is identified in the app. Some editions are partial, some cannot be aligned passage by passage, and mythic or disputed locations are marked accordingly. Features, source availability, and compatible operating systems may change in later versions.
Responsible use
You may use the app for personal reading and learning under Apple’s Standard EULA. Rights in third-party source editions remain with their respective rights holders and are described in the app’s Sources & Rights section. Do not extract or redistribute protected content except where permitted by the applicable license or law.

Für die Nutzung von Odyssee gelten Apples Standard-Endbenutzer-Lizenzvertrag für lizenzierte Anwendungen und die folgenden ergänzenden Bedingungen.
Zweck und Unabhängigkeit
Odyssee ist eine unabhängige Lese- und Lernapp über Homers Odyssee. Sie ist weder mit einer Filmproduktion, einem Studio, Rechteinhaber noch einem Filmemacher verbunden oder von diesen unterstützt. Redaktionelle Vergleiche und geografische Deutungen sind Bildungsinhalte und keine Behauptung eines offiziellen Status oder historischer Gewissheit.
Kostenloser Zugang und Odysee Pro
Die App bietet einen sinnvollen kostenlosen Weg. Odysee Pro schaltet weitere Ausgaben und redaktionelle Funktionen frei. Verfügbare Produkte können ein monatlich verlängerbares Abonnement, ein jährlich verlängerbares Abonnement und einen nicht verbrauchbaren Einmalkauf für dauerhaften Zugang umfassen. Vor dem Kauf zeigt die App den aktuellen lokalisierten Preis und Abrechnungszeitraum von Apple an.
Abonnements
- Die Zahlung wird bei der Kaufbestätigung deinem Apple Account belastet.
- Ein automatisch verlängerbares Abonnement verlängert sich, wenn es nicht mindestens 24 Stunden vor Ende des laufenden Zeitraums gekündigt wird.
- Dein Apple Account wird innerhalb von 24 Stunden vor Ende des laufenden Zeitraums mit der Verlängerung belastet.
- Abonnements kannst du in den Abonnementeinstellungen deines Apple Accounts verwalten oder kündigen.
- Käufe lassen sich in der App wiederherstellen. Abrechnung, Erstattungen und Zahlungsstreitigkeiten werden nach Apples Regeln von Apple bearbeitet.
Inhalte und Verfügbarkeit
Der Umfang unterscheidet sich je nach Ausgabe und wird in der App ausgewiesen. Manche Ausgaben sind unvollständig, manche können nicht abschnittsweise ausgerichtet werden, und mythische oder umstrittene Orte werden entsprechend gekennzeichnet. Funktionen, Quellenverfügbarkeit und unterstützte Betriebssysteme können sich in späteren Versionen ändern.
Verantwortliche Nutzung
Du darfst die App nach Apples Standard-EULA für persönliche Lektüre und zum Lernen verwenden. Rechte an fremden Textausgaben verbleiben bei den jeweiligen Rechteinhabern und werden in der App unter „Quellen & Rechte“ erläutert. Geschützte Inhalte dürfen nur im Rahmen der jeweiligen Lizenz oder des geltenden Rechts entnommen oder weiterverbreitet werden.
